I will meet with you several times before you go into labor, helping to prepare you with coping techniques and then accompany you as your labor journey progresses. I usually stay with you through getting the baby to latch on initially. Doula fees are $400. Call 229-227-9194 or email to learn more. Please consult my availability on this calendar: There is yet another type of birth attendant that can be helpful to some couples. It is called a monitrice. A monitrice does not deliver the baby but does have the skills to monitor the mother and baby's vital signs during labor and labor progress, thus allowing you to safely labor at home until you would like to head to the hospital or birth center. South GA Birth Services, also offers monitrice services for $650. This level of care requires more responsibility and skill. |
